According to the Herald-Leader:
After home wins, Floyd Central’s players, coaches and cheerleaders have decided to dance on the field. Kelli Hager, the wife of Jags Coach Shawn Hager and mother of Floyd Central freshman Caleb Hager, shared a Facebook Live video of the team dancing to Cupid’s “Cupid Shuffle” after its 43-14 win over Lynn Camp.
Kelli said when the team first received permission to use its new field, Shawn was trained on how to use the press box’s sound system and started playing that song during a practice. Some of the players started dancing around on the field and Shawn took note; during the third quarter of its first home game he started thinking: if we win, we’ll dance. Floyd Central defeated Betsy Layne, 43-0.
